Many a times in life, we stand at a critical crossroad of decisions. Which direction to go? What to do? How to go about it? When Jatin of Buland Himalay found himself in this situation, this EP was born. One may try to sing any genre but perfection needs focus and direction. And to get an insight into where to direct our energies, the band came up with this EP which has all the flavors.
The project thus was to show the story of each choice, each direction taken and the journey that followed that choice. First, a teaser was released with the concept drawn by the client and the execution carried by illustration and animation.
The second release was the first genre of the crossroad, Rock. The song titled 'Badastoor' is about Global Warming. The figure in the video is KalBhairav an avatar of Lord Shiva in his most furious suit, here on earth to end the Kalyug, the Age of Downfall.
The third video of this album was a journey down the indie pop lane.
The next video is old Himachali folk song that was renewed. This song starts with Jatin's grandmother singing and tells the story of a forest guard and his lover. The beloved and lover talk of simple ways in which they express their love for the other regardless of the acres of forest between them.
The fourth song down the crossroads is in the blues genre.
