Every year Bakes and Brews, a cafe in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh transforms a small part of their space in the spirit of Diwali. This year they decided to take it a step further and spread the light of Diwali through different art installations that their customers could interact with. The theme of this installation was the homecoming of the beloved - Lord Ram and the cafe was lit as though the beings of Ayodhya were inviting their Lord home.
About the Installation
As we complete working on the Diwali installation for Bakes ‘N’ Brews, we too feel like the people of Ayodhya, trying to bring something beautiful to life yet wondering if this shall be enough. We’ve attempted to recreate Ramayana and celebrate Diwali through art:
