Everything Sentient
The Garden of life is an interactive art installation that visualizes participant’s presence and translates it into a natural rhythmic pattern. It stands as a biofeedback installation that responds to the proximity of the participant.

The Garden dwells on panels that shelter trees, birds, flowers, and other elements of nature, with proximity sensors mounted on a base. When a participant steps on the base, the sentient beings on the panel, chirp and ripple and bloom.

Within the water are LEDs arranged in layers that light up when they detect a presence; much like the surface of water breaks into ripples upon touch. The birds chirp and flowers bloom, all in response to you signifying that just a presence, a movement alone, affects everything sentient.

The Garden of Life brings to you a realisation that our senses grasp but a fraction of the reality, that in each moment we are surrounded by countless expressions – unfolding, interacting and moulding our sentient universe and our experience of life.
